The St. Urho Scavenger Hunt was held on Saturday, Mar. 2, from 1:30-4 p.m.
Eddie Dugas, a long-time resident of Little Marais died on Sunday, February 24, in the Scenic Shores Home at the age of 88. A memorial service was held on Saturday at the St. Mary's Church in Silver Bay. Deepest sympathy goes out to all the family and friends of Eddie.
St. Urho's Day is coming up fast. Make sure to buy a button and raffle ticket to help support this event. Watch for a list of the different events in the paper. Finland Fire and Rescue will again be serving food in front of the fire hall. The businesses in town will also be having many specials. Mark your calendar, March 16. The parade will again start at high noon on Saturday.
