• 3:08 p.m. Deputy served papers at Two Harbors residence.

• 5:24 p.m. Deputy assisted Babbitt Police Department with uncooperative party.

• 9:38 p.m. Deputy and Two Harbors Police Department responded to report of vehicle in ditch on Scenic Drive. Party brought to Lake County Jail for suspected DUI.

• 10:09 p.m. Deputy responded to report of Silver Bay Police Department squad accident on Banks Boulevard at Davis Drive.

• 11:28 p.m. Deputy responded to report of unwanted party at Veterans on the Lake. Party brought to Lake County Jail for disorderly conduct and obstructing legal process.

Tuesday, June 12

Inmate Population: 4

• 7:10 a.m. Sergeant assisted Silver Bay Police Department with residential alarm call. All secure.

• 7:36 a.m. Sergeant escorted wide load truck near construction on Highway 61 in Beaver Bay.

• 8:48 a.m. Deputy served papers at Two Harbors residence.

• 9:56 a.m. Deputy, Two Harbors Police Department responded to disturbance at Two Harbors High School.

• 10:09 a.m. Deputy spoke with Ely area resident regarding child custody issues.

• 1:03 p.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Highway 2 at Cedar Road. Warned for failure to stop of pedestrian at crosswalk.

• 5:02 p.m. Deputy served papers at Two Harbors residence.

• 7:31 p.m. Deputy responded to report of abandoned truck at Gooseberry Falls State Park. Owner came and removed.

• 8:48 p.m. Deputy spoke with Finland area resident regarding eviction procedures.

• 9:32 p.m. Deputy checked Two Harbors area residence on house watch list.

• 10:13 p.m. Deputy assisted Ely Police Department with intoxicated party at Ely apartments.

Wednesday, June 13

Inmate Population: 6

• 9:46 a.m. Deputy responded to report of chemical/burning smell on Old North Shore Road. Unable to locate.

• 12:37 p.m. Deputy escorted party to retrieve property from vehicle at impound lot.

• 6:28 p.m. Deputy spoke with Knife River resident regarding suspicious activity.

• 6:34 p.m. Deputy, Two Harbors Fire Department, Lake County Rescue Squad respond to report of vehicle fire at Split Rock Lighthouse scenic overlook. No reported injuries.

• 8:47 p.m. Deputy, sergeant, Two Harbors Police Department respond to report of possible assault at Two Harbors Gun Club.

• 11:28 p.m. Deputy checked Knife River residence on house watch list.

Thursday, June 14

• 6:42 a.m. Deputy responded to report of vehicle vs. deer on Highway 2 at Reeves Road. No reported injuries.

• 9:09 a.m. Deputy assisted St. Louis County with attempted pickup of party in Ely.

• 9:49 a.m. Deputy take report of possible harassment at Two Harbors High School.

• 2:44 p.m. Deputy checked welfare of party at rural Two Harbors area residence. All secure.

• 5:13 p.m. Sergeant, Silver Bay Fire Department responded to report of gas tank leak on Lax Lake Road at Highway 3. Silver Bay Fire Department soaked up the fuel.

• 5:45 p.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Highway 2 at Forest Highway 11. Warned for speed.

• 8:34 p.m. Deputy served papers at rural Two Harbors area residence.

• 8:47 p.m. Deputy checked on rural Two Harbors area business.

• 9:08 p.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Valley Road at Ives Road. Warned for speed.

• 11:04 p.m. Deputy assisted Minnesota State Patrol with report of erratic driver on Highway 61 at Salakka Road. Unable to locate.

• 11:28 p.m. Deputy out with parties "parking" on Park Hill Road. Advised to relocate.

• 11:58 p.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Fernberg Road at Moose Lake Road. Warned for speed.

Friday, June 15

Inmate Population: 8

• 12:37 a.m. Deputy assisted Ely Police Department with transporting party to Ely airport.

• 9:50 p.m. Deputy escorted party to retrieve property from vehicle at impound lot.

• 10:52 a.m. Deputy responded to report of vehicle on ATV trail off Forest Highway 11 at Lax Lake Road. Vehicle gone on arrival.

• 11:35 a.m. Deputy assisted motorist blocked by down trees on Tomahawk Road.

• 2:36 p.m. Deputy, Two Harbors Fire Department, Silver Bay Fire Department, Lake County Rescue Squad and Lake County Ambulance Service responded to fire at Louisiana Pacific. No reported injuries.

• 2:54 p.m. Multiple reports received of trees on power lines in Two Harbors area.

• 7:18 p.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Valley Road near county line. Warned for speed.

• 8:07 p.m. Deputy out with broken down vehicle on Highway 61 near Silver Bay. Tow on the way.

• 8:19 p.m. Deputy removes debris from roadway on Highway 1 at Mountain View Road.

• 8:32 p.m. Deputy, Lake County Rescue Squad and Ely ambulance responded to medical at mine pit off 13 Corners Road. Party brought to Ely Bloomenson Community Hospital.

• 10:40 p.m. Deputy responded to report of loud party at Grand Superior Lodge employee housing. Parties told to shut it down.

• 11:34 p.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Highway 61 at Gooseberry Falls State Park. Cited for speed.

Saturday, June 16

• 1:14 a.m. Deputy out with vehicle parked at Fairgrounds. Party napping before Grandma's Marathon.

• 1:24 a.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Highway 61 at Split Rock Lighthouse Road. Warned for speed.

• 2:21 a.m. Deputy assisted Ely Police Department with disturbance.

• 5:13 a.m. Sergeants, deputies, Two Harbors Police Department out at start of Grandma's Marathon.

• 5:49 a.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Highway 1 at Lax Lake Road. Warned for speed.

• 10:14 a.m. Deputy responded to report of garbage dumped on Fernberg Road at Snowbank Road.

• 12:24 p.m. Deputy checked on welfare of party parked at Finland Community Center. All secure.

• 6:21 p.m. Deputy responded to report of hotrodders on Cedar Road at Highway 2.

• 6:37 p.m. Deputy, Two Harbors Police Department, Two Harbors Fire Department, rescue and ambulance respond to two-vehicle accident at Superior Shores Drive. No reported injuries.

• 8:38 p.m. Deputy out with vehicle stopped on Highway 2 near Ecumen Scenic Shores. Driver thought he saw his brother on the golf course.

Sunday, June 17

Inmate Population: 8

• 1:05 a.m. Deputy assisted Silver Bay Police Department with domestic at Silver Bay residence.

• 1:49 a.m. Deputy assisted St. Louis County with unwanted party at Sam's Bar in Winton.

• 10:25 a.m. Deputy responded to alarm at Ely area residence. All secure.

• 12:54 p.m. Deputy responded to report of suspicious activity on Fernberg Road near Garden Lake bridge. Party picking rocks; will stay off private property.

• 2:18 p.m. Deputy responded to report of suicide threats at Two Harbors area residence. Party brought to treatment center in Duluth.

• 4:52 p.m. Deputies assisted Silver Bay Police Department with disturbance at Silver Bay residence. Parties separated.

• 5:47 p.m. Deputies respond to report of vehicle wrecked on Holm Road at Old Drummond Road, which is washed out. Owner had vehicle towed.

• 7:55 p.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Highway 61 at East Castle Danger Road. Warned for speed.

• 8:21 p.m. Deputies check on property located at middle falls at Gooseberry Falls State Park.

• 11:12 p.m. Deputy responded to medical at Two Harbors area residence. Party transported by ambulance to Lake View Hospital.
