University of Minnesota Duluth

The University of Minnesota Duluth has announced its dean's list for the spring semester. Students on the list have achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Local students on the list include:

Knife River

• Madison Basarich, senior, pursuing Bachelor of Art degree in political science.

• Spencer Basarich, sophomore, pursuing Bachelor of Art degree in political science.

Silver Bay

• Dustin R. Baker, sophomore, pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics.

• Gunnar Frahm, sophomore, pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry.

Two Harbors

• Aaron Ekstrom, senior, pursuing mechanical engineering degree.

• Alexander H. Lemke, junior, pursuing electrical engineering degree.

• Allie Morsette, sophomore, pursuing Bachelor of Art degree in Hispanic studies.

• Christin K. Libal, senior, pursuing Bachelor of Science degrees in biochemistry and chemistry.

• Connor Holm, freshman, pursuing Bachelor of Art degree in communication.

• Derek Peters, junior, pursuing degree in industrial engineering.

University of Wisconsin-Superior

The University of Wisconsin-Superior has announced its dean's list for the spring semester. To be named to the list, students must have completed 12 degree-seeking semester credits and achieved at least a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

Local students on the list include:

• Silver Bay — Mitchell Blomberg.

• Two Harbors — Daniel Anderson, Sarah Fjeran, Jenna Frikken, Brianna McGrath.

Michigan Technological University

Michigan Technological University in Houghton has released the dean's list for the spring semester. To be included, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Local students on the list include:

• Two Harbors High School alumni — Owen Cruikshank, physics major; Brynn Torgerson, medical laboratory science major, 4.0 GPA.

Dakota State University

Baruch Oltman of Silver Bay has been named to the president's academic honors list for the spring semester at Dakota State University in Madison. To be included on the list, students must be full time and achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
